The city’s efforts strengthen the local business climate by providing unique networking opportunities throughout the year as well as providing business exposure through our Ribbon Cutting / Grand Opening Program.
Ribbon Cutting / Grand Opening Program
The goal of this program is to recognize businesses in San Pablo. This provides a vehicle for the Board, city officials, members of the Chamber of Commerce and the Merchants Association as well as city residents to welcome new business owners and thank them for investing in the city.
Each new business with a business license and all proper permits is entitled to a grand opening or grand re-opening and ribbon cutting ceremony. Ribbon cuttings are promoted on the SPEDC’s website, social media platforms, and distributed to over 1500 contacts. Businesses receive free marketing and exposure and we promote their business to the residents of the city.
